I'm sure we will be signing on a suitably adventurous cove before too long. Anyway, this navigation lark is overated, France is a big place, innit? And once we get there somebody will point us in the direction of Cherbourg.

Nah; it's easy. We just go out of the Solent and then follow the ferries. Mind you, we ended up in Saint Malo once......

We mght have to review that tactic, it Sseemed a long way back the year that we followed the one with a shamrock on its funnel!

I have PM'ed you details req and my address to send deposit.

I have updated spreadsheet with deposits received and sent it to Fergus (Auditor!)

Current state of play:-

81 people to date have expressed an interest on 22 boats. Some understandably cannot confirm final crew numbers.

Deposits received todate for 25 people.

I think I have PM'ed everyone who has expressed an interest but if you have not received one please PM me.

I am off sailing in Croatia for 2 Weeks so will go quiet but will chase any missing deposits on my return just in case any have gone adrift in the post.

I think taking a deposit is making people commit more so we should have less last minute drop outs this year. If we get say 75 or more deposits I don't want to refuse anyone so will make a decision on Marquee (taking others votes into account and if the option still exists) but to keep our options open at this stage our International Communications Director (Froggie-speak Fergus to you and me) has contacted the restaurant and reserved the extra room for 30 people.
