I think most people will accept that the defining 4 berth twin engine sportscruiser on the secondhand market is the S28. It has space, a seperate rear cabin, a good size galley, one level floor cockpit and it's looks are pretty timeless. Add to that good handling and reliable economical Kad32's and what a great package (especially compared to the S29 (Sorry Dougie!) In 2002 they did a face lift with Blue dash etc that really moved in on a step.
I have just seen that this one HERE is priced at £58,950 which is very competitive. However this is a facelift model which is fully loaded and very clean. But the best part...."All offers considered - owner keen to sell". That means that this could be incredible value.
I have to admit if things on the Job front were better It would be mine! A great boat which could be had for a great price. Even in high season the bargains are starting to arrive in quick succesion. What a time to be a Cash buyer!!!!
Anyone else picked up some great value boats around at the moment?
Cheers
Paul

Obviously all Sealines are crap but if you could get it for £50k it would be a cracking deal.

Nice looking boat, but those engines look more like AD31's to me.

Yeah, mine banged and rattled a lot in a head sea, had a bit of hull crazing, took water in a f5 and above and had a soggy back cabin... oh sorry, that was my F Targa. My Sealine, just fine.... he he
Don't you just love this marque nonsense.

Yip, looks like a great S28 for the money. IT DOES HAVE THE VERY IMPORTANT BLUE DASH! Only thing missing is the cockpit fridge and teak decks! I do agree though, they don't look like KAD32's.
That is what we have our sights set on as our next boat, especially after we had a sea trial in one a few months ago.
If I had £50k now, I'd be making an offer!!
Cheers

I was gonna buy an S28 but decided against the twin engine option just get. I really need to look deeper in the S28 and find out all faults associated with them.
The engines in those pics are not KAD32's though - so it's either a wrong photo or a misprint

From that advert...
"fitted with Eberspacher warm air heating & Gas hob and oven , which both give you the independance to anchor anywhere"
yes, weight in the right place when mooring is very useful
