Purchase a ticket to Australia, take said screen with you and all will be well.

Are there 4 little black knobs on the top of the screen?

Try this...
press CTRL + ALT + down arrow key

(if it doesn't work try CTRL + ALT + the other arrow keys in turn)

If I right click on my desk top one of the options I get is NVIDIA control panel
I click that, then click "Display", then "Rotate display" then "rotate 180°" followed by "accept" it turns upside down. and stays like it if I then say "yes"

To turn it back I click "no rotation" insead of 180°

Difficult using the mouse upside down!

But things may be different with a different driver. I cant change it at the monitor

in windows. click start, then programs, accessories, system tools then system restore.

It is a utility that restores the computer to all the settings it had a week or so earlier. So if your computer goes up the swanny you can use this to undo any tinkering.

This utility has got me out of many many scrapes.
