There is a Plastic Padding type product called Leak Fix, not sure if it would work, could try a web search.

Don't put anything into the fuel!! I've had a minor fuel leak into the bilges and it was simply one of the bleed off pipes from an injector that needed tightening. Most likely coming from an injector or fuel pipe connection to filters or pump. If you dry all potential joints for leaks and then run the engines up on the berth you should see some wetness after a while around the offending item.
Which engines do you haver and how much fuel is leaking?

I had a problem with a tiny tiny hole in one of the hoses from the fuel pump to the injectors - sat in the engine room with the engines running was the only way I found it. Having said that it only happened after a trip, so it was more obvious than just finding fuel in the bilges. Quite messy though, and a pain to clear up, although I have *very* clean bilges in the engine room! Hope you find it OK, its quite unnerving finding fuel slopping around.

Agreed, for the volume it does sound like a leak from the tank. Can we establish if the leak is when underway or berthed up? Or both?
And does it leak when tank is full/ half full etc??
A bit more investigation into the circustances that may generate forcing fuel into the bilge will point us in the direction of the root cause.
I have had the unfortunate experienceof a split tank so know a little about this subject.
