Watchet Marina management have decided to put the marina on the map (chart) with a new annual event over the August Bank Holiday weekend. This coincides with the Watchet Music festival which you can either enjoy or ignore as it is away from the quay area. There will be various events and entertainments throughout the weekend plus discounted berthing of 33% for those who come for two or more nights and register in advance. For those coming from the South Coast or Ireland there will be a 75% discount (YES 75%). To get this they must provide proof of their normal mooring and register in advance. This could be a good opportunity to combine the event with exploration of the empty waters of the Bristol channel. Trailer boats will also be welcome with the above discount plus free use of the slipway and free trailer storage (at owners risk). This first event will be a bit of an experiment but there is the will to make it something special so why not book a place and come along? To register, Email the coordinator: sam@watchet-harbour-marina.com More information as the weekend gets closer.

Would love to go, but being a bank holiday and all that will be stuck in the Swindlery for the weekend, unless of course I can persuade Daughters to cover the weekend. No I may as well forget it! the weather will be crap so no good getting me hopes up
