Chaps (and Chappesses),
In response to your requests I have adding a Weather School video about warm fronts at Weatherweb.TV. Go to http://www.weatherweb.tv to view it and click on 'Learning'.
What do you think of this? Is the format useful, too simple, about right?

Simon Delighted to have found your weather site - for me (novice) this is excellent in helping me to improve my understanding of the weather. Hope you'll add next levels to continue my learning!! But hope to be able to attend one of your classes when I get some time (retirement?). Keep up your great work. Iain.

Simon,
looks good to me and my shorebased students would find it useful, with your permission I will put a link from my site?

Hi Keith and Iain,
Thanks for looking so quickly and pleased you like it. Yes Iain, intention is to add as we go along, working on the cold front one now.
Pleased you like it too Keith. Be delighted for you to link to the site and I'd be keen to know what your students think of it too. Anything you can think of that students find hard to grasp which I can explain?

Thanks, working on the Cold Front video now,. Sorry the Warm Front was 5-minutes, tried to cut it down as much as I could without losing the detail and retainig your interest (I hope).

It was very good for me.
I think on a topic like this then 5 mins is OK. I mean the topic is one which you need to be motivated to learn about, so if someone starts to watch it you can assume they have the interest (and the attention span) to stick at it for a whole 5 mins.

Excellent format Simon, about the right length.
What about a short multiple choice quiz to test your understanding after watching the video?
