Roger

Are you banking the cheques on receipt? As the one I sent you has not shown up yet on the account.

He's just transcribing your account details for his friend in Nigeria, before he banks it......

He'll need it. Have you seen what you get charged for overnight moorings out there?

Anyone know the name of the boat he's sailing out there?

Fiddler's Dream team selection shock !! [Re: Sailfree]
      #1938125 - 23/07/2008 15:43

We are taking a BIG motor boater !!

Big boat, big poster, big beard, big person, namely......

RICKP.

He has been selected following a detailed selection process, based on a broad assessment of skills. Well sort of .... he can eat and drink and is available.

Rick makes up the complement in addition to myself and one lightweight, ie Morgana.

Due to the layout of the boat we can't take anybody else unless they are a dwarf, and Jimi has already been recruited by another boat.

Detailed crossing plans will be made closer to the time.

"....one lightweight...."

So does this mean that I don't have to sit out on the rail for the entire crossing then?....

Yep.. that's right. But if there is a problem aloft, there is no prizes for guessing who will be going up to sort it out !

Nick,

I have just read all this and I urge you to be very cautious about sharing navigation duties amongst the crew.

The question "Are we East or West of the Greenwich Meridian"? may prove helpful in assessing the calibre of some of the, ahem, lightweight resources at your command.
