There are 2 specialized carriers, who will gladly take your money and move your yacht. The price is dependent upon size and weight. For example, a 40ft sailing yacht of about 40,000 lbs would cost around $15,000 - The companies are (1) Sevenstar Yacht Transport at http://www.sevenstar.nl and Dockwise Shipping at http://www.yacht-transport.com - Sevenstar offers traditional transport where sailing yacht go on top (with the masts stepped!) and power boats mostly down below. Dockwise is the much more sexy way... it is a float-on. float-off service. For anyone who does not understand this, go and see the web site. Cool!
