The forum is definitely playing up, it's very very slow and locks up and you have to keep going back, refresh, stop etc, to get it to do anything, whats up? Or is this all part of you wanting to get a new server?

Further to my last, Its not just the forums, the whole site is going to the dogs! (sorry Martin) but it is! I dont know whats wrong, but somebody have a look at this, Please.

I joined the forum just a few weeks ago, and it was amazingly fast/efficient.
Lately, it certainly got worse in this respect.
Still, the excellent content justify the need for some patience, from my viewpoint.
...and the price/performance is simply unbeatable :-))

I'm trying to be patient, and I agree about the content, but the content is down to us, I just want it to work, it's just taken me four attempts to post this!

Good point.
Anyhow, it's strange that in these same moments my connection is not THAT bad.
I do not have to re-attempt posting, reading, etc.; just slow response time.
Do you know where is the site phisically located?

It's to allow you time to read the adverts, taking advise from Yahoo.
Last post having typed it and gone through the first screen, you press button to post and it tells you site unavailable. It the takes you back to the home page, and then back through the Volvo advert, designed to add insult to injury ??

It's now 11:12 and the Zone Alarm icon was showing ZA with no internet movement at all for two minutes.
I know I am digressing, but download AdShield (free version) and block the adverts for good.
Yes, the site is very slow at times compared to others. I am on the basic wire connection and not the whizz-bang system.
