So far the only pleasure being back from living on the boat for three months is having all this bandwidth to read all the great posts on these forums.
Otherwise I think it is easier to go and live on the boat, then doing the reverse.
Hope I can be of help here again, gained loads of experinece with various pieces of equipment on some 3500 miles.

Very nice cruise with family from the Clyde area, west around Ireland, then down to the Azores, then to Madeira and finally back up to the Algarve. Boot's now in Lagos.

No plans to go back so far. Boat will have to wait for me till June, then we'll do another 2 to 3 month trip, probably down to the Canaries and back. Not sure yet. After another year we plan to live on the boat for good, means several years.
If I had to go back I would do it via the Azores, they are just a nice place to see again.
Surpricingly, exactly a week ago I stuck my nose around Cabo Sao Vicente and the wind was west enough to allow me to sail between 0 and 5 degrees over ground. Would have made Lisboa o.k.
