Past couple of days while trying to post a reply I get The "page not available" response. Although on the odd occasion it has actually entered the post. I've also noticed bouble postd by other people and some new posts where the YBW message "post can't be found" page comes up. My ISP is freeserve and there seems to be no problems with other boards I use. Does anyone else get this? Altho lets face it my ISP isn't the best around!

I very rarely get any problems with Freeserve and have found them consistently the best ISP over many years very heavy use, both PAYG and now Anytime.
It's not them.

Blimey, your lucky. I've had months of problems with Freeserve Anytime. Telephone numbers engaged, drop outs, disconnections.
After complaining, they agreed they were having problems on some of their telephone numbers, and that some numbers work better in some parts of the country than others, and gave me some new numbers to dial.
I've had a week or so or relatively reliable connections recently, with better connection rates.

G'day BarryH,
My ISP is not Freeseve and I have had a couple of glitches much tha same as you describe, I suspect it's a bit of noise on the line, nothing to worry about, just a fact of life when dealing with dial up modems.
Avagoodweekend.

Same problems. Also wgen I post I usualy get a red flag thingy, telling me some one else has posted, but when I look it's only me. Some times flags dont go out after I've read them.
No one can force me to come here. I'm a volunteer!!.

I've typed several posts over the last week (just happened again) which got 'lost' in the way you described when I tried to post them. A bit irritating when, as in one case, it was a detailed post on a technical VAT point.
Previously, I had found that the browser back button would take ma back to the posting screen but on these occasions I got a 'page expired' message when I tried that.
Seems like a server fault at YBW end?
