Given East Coasters propensity for going aground and blaming it on shifting banks, doubt anyone will be there on time. Better make a 48 hour window of opportunity, and dig in for the duration! <g>

I've been looking at the Medway. I found myself at Gillingham not so long ago. Theres a slip there that I used. It was somewhat a shock. I didn't know salt water was brown! Is this a reflection on the area in general?

Ahh but we can offer so many shades of brown and once you have seen one lot of gin clear crystal water you have seen em all.

May the mud gods be with us and lift us from our resting places, and may we be delivered to a place of safety where we can indulge in learned discourse.
The dark waters of the Medway are mysterious and know much that is hidden.
We mock the poor souls that can see the sea bed, for they know not what is locked beneath, but become as transparent as the waters they voyage in.
(Told you I've been ill)

Will hopefully be there mid-morning ish.Always listening to Ch 74.Call ( Sara T. )If weather really nice may hang onto commercial bouy at entrance to Stangate( to save all that effort etc )dropping anchor if Medway Rhino not there. If not depending on wind meebe right up top towards Funton or alt in Sharfleet. Was actually joking at the time about the snow comment.

If the wind blows the dandelion seeds away its too rough. Luckily I had the foresight to store some from last summer.
PS the bouy sounds good to me
