Previously if you posted a message you would be returned to the forum, defaulting at viewing the post you wrote, other instances of auto return have also appeared to have been stopped.
Has this been done deliberately? It is a little annoying as it was something I was used to, not painfully so but I still liked it.
Can it be turned back on?

We haven't set out to change any functionality...some of these behaviours changed by default when we moved to the new software.
To be honest I hadn't been paying much attention to what it did after a post...must take a gander and I click this now...

...I was returned to my post by default - it sounds as though not working that way for you?
I view in threaded by default, perhaps it is different in flat mode?

I view in flat, and returns automatically for me ... no changes observed at all.

is odd then. The other hang up is after PMing someone, it used to drop me back to the forum, now it just hangs.
I have expired cookies regularly and this has not helped. I will try logging in on my laptop tomorrow to see if it is the browser on my puter.

Things seem to work pretty much as they used to, but to be honest, never paid much attention, as screen always said view post or return to forum, and always hit 'return to forum' or hit back a few times on browser to get back where I was originally. Usually hit back a few times, as that allows me to keep hitting previous button without interruption
