I believe the fireworks at Swanage are on Saturdays 30th July and 6th August this year. Usually, well the last two years, have had a gathering of forumites in Swanage. This year?
Informal just turn up for the biggest mega raft. See if we can keep up the tradition of having boats losing/dragging anchors and drifting off towards Needles .

still have fast monarch, bought a trailer for her, so in the next few weeks she's definitely coming out!
i bought the sunseeker just to get out on the water, scruffy little boat, but she should be ok for this year. probably sell her on to gain some capital for the osborne... that's untill something else comes along!
looking forward to actually getting the osborne done now... think iv'e taken the piss for long enough. time to do the work now.
trying to get Val to consider overnighting on her on carnival night (or i'll have to keep some red paint on boared!)
speak to ya later, steve.

had forgotten you were on board that evening..............both you and Barry were noticably absent from the thrad a month ago about lit/unlit navigation marks and speed at night....
we are down from the Thursday through 11 days so weather permitting will be in Swanage for both fireworks, having spent the day practicing pool in the Red Lion again (?) and an evening BBQ on the boats? FOr those that remember him John Knight shoud be along as well in his little Bayliner, Steve in the Leader 805 and other Poole boats.
This coming weekend's looking pretty good too at the moment - although theyr is only going as far as Friday it's showing F1/2 and warmth so anyone up for a raft party in the Poole area if it turn out well?
