A Hearty Thank You
      #957955 - 17/02/2006 09:13

I'm the forum loon who has been through heartbreak hell for the past 6 months. I'd hovered on the edge of suicidal tenderloins, could see no light at the end of the tunnel, and well, life has been horrid; self-inflicted horridness.
But now I am healed. The fog of getting dumped has lifted and I really owe a big thank you to all the folks in this forum who never failed to offer me advice, support and encouragement. When I finally make it to my boat, I will salute you all.
Arigato.

So you've weathered a major storm - that's an achievement. Now you can take it easy.

Fair winds

I like it when you write - reading your blog over the last year or so is a real journey. You will always have these emotional ups and downs, its one way of demonstrating you are truly alive.
Be happy.

So very glad you've seen the light. But don't expect to completely heal. The scars fade, but the mammary lingers on.
It's what make one a 'rounded' person. Better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all.
Fair winds and fun to you....

I believe I will completely heal from this. I have admitted my faults, have acknowledged the great effort I put into making it all come true, and merely have a memory of somebody who was worth far less than I had originally been led to believe.
One can truly heal when the sickness was not as terminal as at first thought.

And if I don't heal? I will just sell everything and go and end my days in the Himalayas.

If you do, can I accompany you to the Himalayas, and if I do, will you leave the boat to me in your will? <g>

It's a bit chilly in the Himalaya. If you want to be a hermit, I would suggest Polynesia. The cocktails are better there too!
