Sorted leg tilt pump and oil pressure gauge sender problem on new boat and ready to go but !!!!!Have hole in fresh water tank, in of course totally inacessable to fix place .Any suggestions to repair insitu or do I just wait for winter layup to rip the blimming thing out.Cannot remove and repair/replace due to size and will prob need to cut in half with angle grinder to get out.

Just chuck some radweld in the tank. Course you will have to spit it out. in the tea. But it will do the job. And alot less bver than a hover!!

Was going to suggest a trip to the doctors as seems to be a problem for lots of oldgits!
Why not line the tank with a flexible tank from Vetus or some other manufacturer, if you can't find the right size then have one made.

Thanks everyone .Can I just mention it took an hour for it to occur to me that the water tank was taking ages to fill up.Oooo look at all that water in the bilge,now I wonder where that came from....Doh!.....

I had this thought , how about once leak located and then if its near to the bottom of the tank pouring a resin in once cured it could last for years .
Yep I know you will need to get a method of cleaning the tank should have a plate set in to allow for inspection, degreasing is easy because acetone is very good
( plenty of ventilation required oh and put that joint out !! ).
If the leak is that bad its got to be either a fracture or pipe .

ah but, wont that block the outlet to the pump?
anyway, surely all drinks are either mixed with tonic or coke? wot is water needed for?

Easy to push a flexable tube up inside the pipe it's self which would take care of that .
Your right about the water thing though.
