what huge shame. He was a great bloke on the forum and I'm sure (although i never mettim) in real life as well.

Sorry Dougie, it must been awful for all those there over the weekend.
As others have said, Northshore was always worth reading, dont think I ever skipped one knowingly.
My father passed away in a similar timeframe, and although it was a huge shock, we also came to realise that he suffered no lingering illness and pain.
A loss to his family and all those here.Anger is a wind which blows out the lamp of the mind.
