Having seen previous somewhat negative comments regarding Glomex Omni TV Antennas, I thought I'd consider the UFO-II for my new 25' Solent based Cruiser.
Anyone got a Triax UFO TV antenna fitted?

Re: UFO Marine TV Antenna - Any Good?
Lots of varied discussion in previous posts on this very piece of kit. Worth trying a search on "UFO" with a time = 1 year ?
I think, therefore I am. I am, therefore I sail.

Dogwatch has previously reported his satisfaction with the performance, but reserved comment on its longevity cause he hasnt had it long enough!

Try searching the forums with Triax
I've got one and am delighted. Great pics, easy to fit, lightweight, a little light which tells you it's on, much much much cheaper than a Glomex etc.
I got mine on the basis of Dogwatchs' recommend, and I think a few others here have them aswell.Narrowboating From Stretford!!

Thanks for everyone's feedback.
I am convinced to get the UFO but have only been able to find 1 reseller at £78.00 (including VAT, Shipping & post mount). Does that sound about right?

have had 2 units now on two boats and found them both reliable and capable of providing a good strong signal. Try http://www.cpc.co.uk - thats who I use.

seems about right.
IIRC, the same kit for a Glomex would be around £150+/-Narrowboating From Stretford!!
