evening all,
i read in this months magazine that charter boats now need a license to serve alcohol. we are starting a new charter company and wondered if anyone knew the next steps we need to take to get one. we have looked through the web but cant seem to find anything else on it. any help would be appreiciated.

Welcome to the forum. I would suggest your best bet would be to phone your local Coastguard Station or ask the Local Authority where your boat is based they should be able to point you in the right direction.

Hi, not sure about the exact details of the charter licence, but these people http://www.bii.org/ are the awarding body for the personal licence that you will need to sell alcohol. (1 day training course followed by exam )
