Well, I waited.
FullCircle is pleased to announce the departure of the Burnham-Ostend Express about 0600 Friday morning, after essential technical difficulties.
Have been sorted out.
We have a mainly Lincolnshire passenger list, who have booked the Aft State Cabin with windows for the Platinum package.
We therefore expect to be In Ostend around 2300.

Re: oostende plans
Our plans have been scuppered.
New masts and sails look great. However, engine was not having any of it when we tried to start on Sunday for a test sail down the Orwell. Checked and found water coming out of the dipstick hole like a fountain!!!
Pretty weird considering the engine had been run on the Tuesday when the masts were stepped.
Many hours of labour (hard labour turning a six cylinder diesel by hand included) we finally managed to start the beast last night - you may have seen the smoke signals.
Whilst I am sure it is all fine as far as the engine goes, it means we have no chance to test the rig etc and still get over for the festivities as our intended departure was tonight (Thurs).
Oh, and the culprit.....an anti-syphon that didn't.
Hope everyone has a safe and pleasant trip. We'll be thinking of you with just a little touch of jealousy.
