Why is it that nearly everyone who I have dealt with regarding the purchase of 'Our' boat...................as a double barrel name??
Is it just something that is essential in the nautical world? Is there some sinister 'Bigger Picture' to bamboozle us into parting with more money?? Is it just a bloody funny coincidence???
Just thought I'd ask
They l seem very good at their chosen subjects however, the only one who was rubbish was a broker with a non double barrel name!!
I must 'Big-Up' the surveyor, a young chap by the name of Edd Horne-Wingett, what a nice guy!
Cheers all.

Re: Double Barrel Names
Everyone is gradually aquiring a double-barrel name now because people don't marry any more. So children routinely get lumbered with Bloggs-Symthe or Pratt-Thomas, to indicate "ownership" by both insecure parents.
Pity the next generation!
