    Default River Orwell - Rubbish

On Sunday 15th July caught a black bin liner on prop just downstream of Orwell Bridge. Luckily managed to sail to mooring buoy and remove offending article. Same day managed to avoid a plastic bag conveniently floating in the narrow channel behind the harbour wall at Suffolk Yacht Harbour. Luckily we spotted it and crew niftily grabbed it with the boat hook on our starboard bow. It was a printed bag with the name of a chandlery on it. You would have thought anyone buying stuff from a chandlery would have the commonsense not to discard the polythene bag in a marina. Takes all sorts I suppose.
