Hi
Does anyone think they might know what this boat is? The owner doesn't know, but someone told him it was a Fairline Vixen. It's 25ftx8ft, roughly. Have had a look and it doesn't seem like a Vixen

I'd be really grateful if anyone can help!

Re: Mystery motor cruiser
Thanks for replying. Have had a look on the Coronet website, but they don't look quite the same. It's the windows on the side that seem completely different to most others, being rounded rather than pointed on the ends! Any alternative suggestions?

Re: Mystery motor cruiser
Fairline Vixens were about 19ft I seem to recall.
They were really good boats in their day, went well with a single Mercruiser petrol engine.
This is a Vixen.

Re: Mystery motor cruiser
Well, the boat is definitely at least 25 foot, so that does seem to rule out the vixen, which is a shame as they seem nice boats. It has 2 volvo penta petrol inboards, which doesn't seem very common in boats that size either. Here's another photo of it, after the owner removed the rotten cuddy and replaced it with perspex.

Re: Mystery motor cruiser
My thoughts too, but that only makes it 23 feet.
Another possibility is a Conway 26. They made both aft cockpit and aft cabin versions. Very similar.

How about an old Fairline Fury 25? Now that seems to ring a bell with me.. Not sure why as a i think a bell was an optional extra..
