Yes it did and made a horrible noise and the boat shook like mad as the gears were still catching every now and then. I thought it was the engine that Col has just rebuilt (sorry Col).
We got some great pictures but I don't know how to post them and yours are just as good if not better.
Never mind, its only money, anyone want to buy a used Corniche....

They definitely do like to use stationary boats that are well out from shore as fixed point. Some years back when they had the festival of the sea at Portsmouth, a few of us had just left Portsmouth, and we stopped outside the main channel to watch.
They were using us as their fixed point, as every formation went directly overhead. Fantastic
