Boat is just about there - a few sail tweaks happening and some winches being replaced (from Oz!) but as far as I know, it's headed this way (from Holland) within a month - probably Queen Anne's Battery, Plymouth following registration in Guernsey.

That's odd - Tried to post a pic and I lost it!
She's now in Plymouth - Safe crossing from Holland to Guernsey (to register it) and now moored at QAB.

She's finally here and very very nice indeed.
Interior is stunning - not flashy, just very well fitted out.
Teak deck is a work of art.
The finish on the steel is first class.
Will get some pics up soon - a very nice boat indeed.
At Queen Anne's Battery in Plymouth if anyone wants a look.Salcombe Flyer 440 with a Mercury 60.

Fantastic looking boat. But surely it's not just standing room only on deck?

Re: Fisher 46 - First in 15 years!
Does the genoa sheet really go all the way back to the stern platform, before turning?
Next time, it'll all be different.

Dyflin - Errrrmmm - you can stand on all three levels - On deck (!), in the wheelhouse, and on the bottom floor.
Ken - pardon my naivety - that genoa sheet is tied down in that pic to keep the boom in place. When sailing, it's undone. Is that what you mean?Salcombe Flyer 440 with a Mercury 60.

Re: Fisher 46 - First in 15 years!
No I mean, there appears to be no seating on deck?

Re: Fisher 46 - First in 15 years!
Oops! Nope - not actual seats.
Although you can easily sit on the roof of the cabin.
The seating in the wheelhouse is pretty good though - 360 degree views and comfy too.Salcombe Flyer 440 with a Mercury 60.

Re: Fisher 46 - First in 15 years!
What a shame about the deck layout. Nowhere to sit about having sundowners. Where to stow the fenders and other deck junk?
Should have had captive reel winches (a la Wally) rather than those rather ugly "pods"."Beer is proof that god loves us and wants us to be happy" B. Franklin

They're jealous. But it's a houseboat, really, isn't it? There's a great big chimney behind that bloke and he's writing a note... '2 pints semi-skimmed today, milko.'
