After spending 4 day now at the show some slightly different observations about it.

All the dolly birds promoting stuff tend to be blond with match stick legs.

everyone wears a logoed jacket/shirt even if they are not working at the show.

The guys with those little click counters on the pontoon bridge walkways are now on there third finger having worn the other 2 out.

the boat handling is improving on the try a boat boats.

peeps are not drinking as much as the ques for the loos are non existent.

with little sun you can see peepers eyes when they talk to you, rather than your own reflection in there sun glasses.

and few hats as the wind has blown them off.

but this does make it easy to find stuff as the flags are flying well.

What things did you notice.

and further more it was utter ****. French bread my a@se, soggy wet roll, been in the chiller so long its like eating a wet flannel. Girl serving the slices of cake didn’t know what they were. Or to be fair to her, they were probably just **** too as they didn't taste of what she said they would! carrot cake was ginger cake, lemon cake was plain cake [img]/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

As a chap I felt it was a shame that the pretty girls in the short sexy outfits (not sure what they were promoting? possibly the show itself) were hidden behind a counter all day, why bother in the first place?

I had some of that lemon cake - a slice for £2.00! I called the police on the way back to the table to tell them i'd just been voluntarily mugged! [img]/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

Didnt taste of anything and clumped up somewhere down my throat until I had a big cake-slice shaped neck [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Adding to the moans and groans here, I took my printout from MBM invitation for free cakes and drink. Well, last saturday at 12 noon they had run out of cakes.
Wife was gutted and child lost confidence in me.

This can only mean 2 things, MBM only bought a Tesco cake or you greedy lot got their before me.

Also, despite all the discussion, MBM DID NOT FLY THE FORUM FLAGGy!

But they did from the pole on the end of YBW stand (I think) above a little speed boat.

If MBM did stickers for forumites (who were happy to meet fellow forumites) next year, we could wear them.

Nothing to do with cake sorry for the drift, just thinking it would be nice to say hello to a fellow forumite at the show. We could then run it down while there [img]/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
