I find toast best done in a wiped clean frying pan. Incidentally, I've posted it on here before, but Ikea do a square handle-less deep fryingpan, slightly bigger than the Ozzie boatpan, which is cast iron and fits exactly onto the top of a taylors 030, which converts nearly 2/3 of the top into fryng space - very handy if you want a big fryup for four in a hurry. Oven roasted sausage and tomato, and you could cook for eight at once!
