SAGA Boat Insurance

Ive used saga boat insurance for my boat based in the Med for a few years now,seem pretty good but ive never claimed yet.

I found Saga to be expensive try the broker "Cheers" I bet they come up with something cheaper and better.

Excelent, paid out £23 grand on my boat last year. without a wimper, even though the estimate was for only £13 grand.

Think it's a friendly surveyer that makes the difference.

I looked at their insurance for my boat a few years ago. Lots cheaper, but the T&Cs were totally unrealistic, and would have meant that I might just as well have saved the money and just had 3rd party.

Of course things may have changed since then!!!!

I think they're trying to capture our market. When I instigated the question with them some years ago, they only wanted to cover inshore/inland stuff. Now they are pestering me regularly, although I haven't moved from Nav Gen who gave the best quote.

I'm with them and when I queried a couple of T & Cs they deleted them or amended them to match other people.
Good price and, so far, good service.

Have to be willing to get a lot of junk mail from them though.
