The one next to Mercury is great..used it twice this year. If you want to go further how about Penmarlem in Fowey, cornwall? Lovely site and a great (but steep) slipway. Also lots of pontoons!

Its a long way north but Lossiemouth Marina has 2 caravan parks within 2mls. Closest one is within staggering distance of the marina and local "hostelries". Same as my home. Hic.....I'm happy to be free as the wind as the wind is tax free, so far.

There's a campsite less than half a mile from Brighton Marina. My wife's cousin and her family stayed there last year in a campervan and said that it was OK.
