It was probably Csail...
"It's not that I think I'm better than you, it's just I'm a bit cleverer than you need to be to work here."
"Wolfie's got a BTEC."
"Exactly."

Re: Fujitive Tycoon tries to escape Britain....
according to the BBC reporter, his boat was going to be given some coating that would allow it to be safe for going far offshore. Presumably antifoul.

Was one of the most horrific murders I've ever known. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/uk...6908-20016952/If I'd wanted to live in a Banana Republic I'd have gone to South America.

24 hour news
The BBC have been caught out a few times like this. They are under pressure to get news stories onto the website, and onto their various TV and Radio stations very quickly, while at the same time they're expected to spend as little money as possible. The journalists in question don't have time to consult Google or ask an adult. This leads to embarrassing cock ups such as this http://www.badscience.net/2008/09/th...nty-of-chance/ . In this case the commercial news networks picked up the story and unfortunately no one thought to find out what the clever man meant by 'statistical significance'.
It is only when the media reports on subjects that I have close knowledge of that I notice just how inaccurate and misleading most news reporting actually is.
