My question was wtf were they removed? it was all very ordinary stuff about a couple of rather nice boats.

I don't know but I viewed a thread in Scuttlebutt yesterday and numerous posts had large purple blocks obscuring the text with hundreds of 'word removed' on them. Refreshing the page cleared the blocks away. Very odd, and I hate purple.
I had other problems yesterday too. I started a thread in the lounge - it posted OK and was displayed in the thread list but disappeared 30 minutes later. The threads started sorting themselves in reverse order and the 'unread posts' function stopped working. There be gremlins.

I take full responsibility for that one, was playing with the word censor and one term I put in caused everything to be banned for a few seconds. Not sure why that one's remained so though.
