Unread Private Messages

Hi,

Would it be possible to highlight unread PMs so that it attracts attention? Maybe a flag or something quite bold as we used to have.
I've been waiting for a reply for 3 days and the member has been on line. I assume he hasn't noticed his unread total.

This is possible in the User CP > Edit options > Show New Private Message Notification Pop-up

It is also possible to get an email notification sent when you get a new message, found in the same place as above.

That's fine for PMs coming to me.
I would like a PM I send to be more obvious to the recipient that there is a message in their in box when logging, on as there was before with the flag.

Each user has to choose to have the pop up alert option though... By default it is turned off.

Then individuals could turn it 'OFF' if it was distracting. Then we and new members would automatically get the alert.

I must admit that does seem a more sensible option.

It took me a fortnight to find the message box, let alone read whether there was anything in it.
