Great read.
If you liked "Riddle of the Sands" and Sam Lewellyn stuff, you'll like this.
Written by someone who knows a bit about sailing, so authenticity is there and a great escapism novel to go with it.
Written by Bjorn something or other and translated by Bernard Cornwell I think (but that could have been a different book I was reading).
Anyway, a nice read.

Bjorn Larsson.
Translated by George Simpson.
Couple of chapters into it, so won't compare for a few more days!

I enjoyed the style, but felt that the end was a little weak. Without giving the plot away, I thought there was the possibility that what he had found out might not have been what his partner had found out, and had expected these stories to come out after the episode on the island.
Very enjoyable read.
