Maybe don't do Ireland ...VHF just said Southerly F8 Irish sea imminent.You were right.

Yeah, it did look likely. We maybe having a meal with friends instead this weekend. No diving and no sailing. Boo.

Well i'm off diving now then sailing at the weekend so there!!!
Bet the Irish sea will brew up with a sourtherly though.Check Turbot Bank Buoy on Thursday evening and see if it did really happen.
