Hi can anyone please help.
I should like to sell my boat can any one tell me what commission i should expect to pay.

Between 6-8% with usually a minimum charge if the boat is low value. Suggest you contact YDSA for a list of broker members and guidance on doing business with brokers. RYA also have useful publications on buying and selling SH boats.

Tranona is on the money as ever. Have a look at my site in the sig below and I may be able to help out a bit on that depending on the boat. You can also try some of the free or nearly free listing sites like Apollo duck and Boats and out boards.

Give http://www.davidcookyachts.com/ He's been in the business for 30 odd years, knows his stuff and started out on his own last year. He's hungry for business so will do his stuff. He sold my yacht within 3 months. Thanks David

He charged me 6% with no VAT
