We had a lovely visit to Lincoln last year, with the help of JKay. It's well worth meeting up for a natter.

So much so, we're going to do it again this year... I's got a new Dingy that I want to try out on the drains.

The Drains on the Witham are great in a dingy and we do lots of them

Went through at the weekend with an accurately measured air draught of 8'10 on a radar arch which is 7'0" wide and a boat which is 9'6" beam and there was about 6" to spare at 'corners' of arch.

Tried to go through very slowly but current pulls boat to one side and we clattered against the sides, but certainly got a very good audience of onlookers and will try to dress for the occasion next time.

Don't do it in summer if you're shy!
