With 17 - 20 hours to kill.... half night, half day, which fishing gear should I bring?

I have a couple of light weight telescopic rods and a couple of 9 foot spinning rods.

Not fussed about what to catch, I won't be eating it as its not tuna or salmon and my sashimi chef isn't coming...

So, spinning rods and feathers or spoons or A.N. Other?
