    Default Ebbco Special Sextant

    SOLD

Ebbco plastic sextant in box with instructions.

Half silvered horizon glass, two horizon shades and three object shades and telescope.

Its more than a toy, and could be useful if you want to try sun sights, and don't want the cost of a proper sextant, or even at sea as a back up.

Does not look as if it has been used.

It came with a boat I bought.

    25.00

Postage within UK by Royal Mail First Class - Signed For - 6.60

    Question Cheeky, I know, but. . . .

I already have one (bought on this very forum), but any chance you (or buyer) could scan or phocopy the manual for me? I didn't get one with mine. Hope you don't mind me asking.

    Default Scanned Manual

    No problem
It'll cost just 25, plus 6.60 postage, and with it you get, for free, the original manual, plus a complete sextant, and plastic case !!!!

    Default Manual

    Littlesis,

If Vlad does not get you a manual I have one I could copy sometime (when bought back from boat).

BTW there are two versions of the Ebbco if I remember correctly - The "standard" with ordinary (reverse) silvered mirrors, and the "Special" with surface silvering for more accurate readings.

That's very kind of you, ithet. Much appreciated. No rush. Will send you PM with my email address.

The Ebbco I have has 'Special' marked on the rotating arm (proper name escapes me for the moment!), so I guess it's that model.

    Default Manual

    Hi LittleSister

I have the manual at home & can copy or scan it for you
send me an email address that will accept attachments, and a name and postal address just in case the technology puts up a fight.
Best to send this info by pm

[posting it on the forum might "help" you to do one or more of the following:
A/ re-unite you with your long lost relatives all over the world
B/ claim the US$2.5 million estate of someone who is dying and looking for a kind person to look after their fortune
C/ as B save that he/she has already died intestate
D/ claim winnings in the microsoft global email lottery
E/ collect your parcel being held pending a small payment
    F/ etc etc

    what a world!
