I'm a bit bored and missing get out on the water so how about a discussion about the next meet.
I propose Fri 27th April, a bit later that usual but maybe a chance of it being a bit warmer. Usual place, usual suspects?

Count me in - although I might not be able to afford it being accidentally retired. I will probably be on Capricious with at lease FullCircle pulling all the ropes as I lie back and issue orders!

Guilty as charged your honour!
I do hope to attend but I may be wanting to swap a bottle of liquid necter for a berth for the wk end myself as HB might not be ready
Dont all rush to offer
I only got authorisation from my insurers yesterday to proceed with all the repairs by the relevent companies.
Incidently Hummingbird will have a whole new mast, rigging, boom, roller reefing system.
The mast will be a selden double spreader rig, apparently much lighter but as strong as a heavier single spreader rig.
The question now is will it be ready for an april launch.
Sorry for hijacking the thread.

Ps just noticed the date on Spyro's post, HB might be ready for then, hopefully.

That's great news to hear. I guess once its all sorted and your back in the water, then at least you can derive some satisfaction in having some new kit. I hope the repairs go smoothly.
WRT the Clyde Scuttlebutt Cruise, they sound good fun and are always tempting , however without fail, and again this time, it corresponds with my shift at work. Maybe one day.Having time is unavoidable.

I'd like to think we'll be fixed and in the water by then!
Good news from Eamonn, that'll be some mast - twin spreader, keel stepped, does that entail new shroud plates as well? Somebody better make him a present of a tension guage or it'll still be 'S' shaped by the time scuttlebutt comes along!Left hand down a bit.
