I may be wrong, but I thought you could post a link, i.e your newsletter, such as on your signature, as long as you had active links back to ybw.com on your site? The VolPen User Group has these links via Boats On The Web, which hosts it.
I don't think Kim objects to this unless perhaps it is construed as being for financial gain.
    Ask Kim how to.

Hi, I know how to do it, it's just that Kim said to me no blatant advertising of the organisation or posting on every thread about problems with companies.

    That's all

Ah, then I guess IPC don't want to get involved with the implications of naming and shaming. Understandable, I suppose.

In a nutshell yes, they wouldn't want to upset their advertisers, but I'd hope that in the interests of their readers they'd cover any really bad experiences, even if this was done objectively.

Furthermore we're not about antagonistic tactics, more about being a central point or voice for Boating Consumers, in the hope that companies would take any negative comments as opportunities to improve their public perception in the desire to improve business and gain continued sales.

Too many companies reach for the solicitor rather than say "is this what our customers really think of us !"

    Remember bad news travels fast.
