It has been an annual event for the past few years and I think that 2012 dates are already being discussed (it tends to be a neaps weekend in September). Sailfree and Fergus are usually the guiding spirits behind it, so watch out for posts from one or other of them.
I've been on a few of them and I seem to recall that it's fun, but my memories are a little blurred for some reason......

Incidentally Cardo, beware the one they call "Pinnacle". Previous Cherbourg trips on his yot appear to have featured crew (or possibly even the skipper) helming from the for'ard cabin whilst comatose.....
