Yanmar poor starting
Another vote for checking the fuel system for air leaks. After various changes of O rings and copper washers (all of which worked for a bit but then the problem returned) I bit the bullet and bought and fitted a new secondary filter - the assembly fitted to the engine itself. Problem solved. It's an easy DIY job.
