Hi Skip
Welcome aboard
Glad to hear you have lots of opinions - such things are in short supply on here.
Only thing is:-
You will be wrong most of the time - and plenty of people on here are quite happy to let you know.
EnjoyIf you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken

Translation isn't too difficult. I have figured out that half seven is 7:30 and a few other common foreign terms. If the British would just learn how to spell (colour, cheque?) it would be easier. The pronunciation could use a bit of help as well. Thames = tims. Worcester = wooster?

Thanks. So far so good. Engine should go back in this week. Most of the plumbing and wiring is done. Most of the other bits and pieces are bought and waiting to go in. Ordering sails this week. So barring a meteorite or earthquake (in Florida?) and with a little bit of luck I will be in the water before hurricane season.
Then one or two weeks to learn how to sail and UK here I come. I already have a map from last month's National Geographic to get me there.

Oh no. You won't suck me into an anchor thread. I've seen plenty of those on this side of the pond. At least on this forum I don't think I have to worry about guns on boats discussions. And I don't know enough about British politics to know a Tory from a lorry so I'm safe there.
