Think bigger HiJack the rescue tugs then tow it

Although I joke, I do feel for all onboard. That many people I hope they have power for basic's A/C or Heat food. fridges. water etc if not would not be nice place to be....

One or 2 causing problems could make life hell...

Don't knock it SWMBO has just booked a cheap cruise with Cunnard.

Recession, Costa Concordia and now this is not encouraging cruises as a holiday!!

    2 Blokes in a pub.

One says 'I work for Cunard'.

Other one says 'Well I keep fairly busy too'.

What? You bought her a ticket, or are you going as well?

Not a Costa ship, but back in 2010 the Carnival Splendor suffered total propulsion failure due to one engine/generator failure (out of six). I don't know if this Costa ship has the same arrangement of engines and electric propulsion.

I'm off on a cruise next week to the Red Sea. What should I pack in my survival pack? I already have of a life raft and a primus stove on my list, can anyone think of any other vital kit?
