Boating partner or help required with local short trips

I have a sports cruiser ( 40ft) in Portsmouth .Im looking for someone with experience of boating and the local area to help with short passages ,going through lock ,Cowes etc...

I am an YMO and have done lots of sailing in the Solent and surrounding area. I am always looking for a good excuse to get out and about and sail new types of yachts. I take it your yacht is in Port Solent as you mention getting through the lock.

Don't think it is a yacht, is it. He mentions a 40ft Sportscruiser. Still fun though!!
