You might get a sailing cat with twin diesels and a flybridge - not sure that's what the OP had in mind :-p
I'm a raggie myself but could be tempted by a grand banks - if I had the money to buy and run her!

F43 sealine, but I would say that.
anything over 45' in the bristol channel is difficult to get into Watchet and other marinas.
Princess 42
Fairline 40
You might just get a fairline 46 for that money.
Depends on where you want to keep it and how many cabins etc.
As long as it does not have any rags attached to it you will be fine ;-)"Is it me?"

There is a very high spec F37 for sale in Portishead.
Good value at £179 and he might have a deal.
With twin 300 D4's (rare)
Already bought his new boat so it's ready to go."Is it me?"

Something with quiet, non-smokey, non-smelly exhausts?

Any of the Channel Island range. Excellent seakeeping and reliable with a good finish.
