Could be although I thought it looked like they were heading out towards the Western Approaches to the Channel Bouy off NW France to take them over the Continental Shelf before turning South. No doubt we'll be watching! Originally Posted by AIDY

They've turned up again on AIS - just coming down to Ushant ... forecasted NW winds ~6 knots so as they're doing 6.6 I guess theres a bit of Iron Topsail being used

looks like they are heading north of ushant... so maybe straight across biscay without refueling.

Well I guess that if they intend not stopping (Peter said that was their intention) then they should disappear from AIS sometime this evening, and not be back in range till late Saturday. I do know their boat has the extra fuel tank so they should be good for 500 miles on engine alone.
