Exclamation Two and a Half Ton Dream

Forumites might remember a thread discussing this East Coast Classic a couple of years ago..... Having just re-read my copy, I Googled the title and found several copies through Amazon.

One Southend bookshop is asking 575 and change... I'm thinking of putting my copy into Bank Vault to be taken out and lovingly gazed at!

    Crikey!
I used to have that book, and a two and a half tonner [Johnson & Jago], bought from North Fambridge for 500.
I should have kept the book and given the boat to the charity shop.

It's a good read, but not that good! Better put mine away safe!

I bought one cheap from the USA and sold it for a good profit after I'd read it. I enjoyed reading it but I wouldn't want to read it again; it wasn't that good. A bit twee, I thought.
