Give the guy a break! You're a long way from Argyll. It only took 4 minutes to get here.

Glad this story had a happy ending!

Though the tosh communication seems to me to be the status quo for many marine businesses in this country, sadly.

So, you gave them some money, heard nothing for two months, had to chase them, waited for a no show, waited again for a late message and finally got something that because of the weather you aren't going to be able to check out properly before your trip.

.......and the first thing you did was thank them.

We Britishers are a strange bunch. Perhaps we get the service level we deserve?
I may be wrong, but I'm not confused.

I have no idea whether this post has helped or not, but with the fuzzy promises and failed delivery to date I had no option but to do it.

Some of you have knocked me in the posts above, but many have offered support. Thank you.

There are three posts that made me sit on my hands. I'm glad I did.

I shall post a picture of the sail in use later on this week in case anyone's interested. It's a 165% genoa on a 1970s Nic.
Great news. I hope they have apologised for not telling you the Friday delivery was cancelled. Best Wishes for the cruise.

I still think the OP should have been firmer about delivery dates, but your comment does strike home; no other country would have said "Morris Marina & Newbridge Navigator, Ta very much ! "
