Besides there is something a little odd about a man with a tash introducing himself as Talulah when you meet for the first time!

That's why I shaved off my mousetash many years ago. I used to use my real name (not Steph Jones!) but there's a lot of other people with my name, whereas my boat is one of only a few with that name. If anyone from here is going to say hello in real life, they're more likely to recognise me by the two foot high letters on the dodgers.

My name is the name of my boat and its class number and also happens to be my first name, hence IANA T182 and me Ian.
I bought the yacht back in 1983-4 and never noticed the name on the stern, (it had no dodgers) until my girlfriend pointed it out.
I understand that it is a derived from the name DIANA the Huntress in mythological lore.

My passwords are usually my RAF service number etc,one that ex-servicemen never forget!!

Mines easy or was till dan changed the forum an few years ago and I lost my username and then got it back a letter short!

The only other forum I use insists on plain correct names and a real photo similar to passport (it's for up-market carpet cleaners - which includes me, if you must know).

Great rule - all fora should do it. Having said that, the sub-forum (East Coast) on here tend to use boat names, and I feel out of place using my plain name on there.

Same for me. I always thought you were a perv and proud about it. Glad to hear you're not. Or at least that it is not the reason for your username, even if you are. A perv, that is.
